YPG Press Office has reported that Sinjar town centre has been liberated following the clashes that erupted in the wake of the operation launched today by HPG and YBS forces to liberate Sinjar.
People's Defense Headquarters Commander Murat Karayılan said that it is not right to evacuate Yazidis from the Mount Sinjar, stressing that; “If they were evacuated, their return would be much more difficult.”
